imagesWelcome to the National Geographic GeoBee Challenge!
How knowledgeable are you when it comes to geography based questions?  Is your knowledge “local” or do you possess “worldly” knowledge?

The 6th grade Enrichment Social Studies teachers are presenting a challenge to their students.

National Geographic posts a daily GeoBee Challenge each day.  You can access the site by clicking the link below:

GeoBee Daily Challenge

Do you have what it takes to be the GeoBee class champion?  If you would like to participate in the classroom challenge, follow the directions below:

  1. A minimum of 10 GeoBee Quizzes must be taken each marking period (a new quiz is posted daily).
  2. Print each of the quizzes to keep a record of the scores.
  3. At the end of the marking period, the classroom teacher will average out scores with the student.
  4. One classroom champion will be crowned each marking period.

Classroom champions will be placed on a Geography Bee team that will compete against other 6th grade classroom champions in the 1st annual 6th Grade Geography Bee, which will take place in June.

If you have any questions, speak with your Social Studies Enrichment teacher.
